What will be the biggest attraction in Tenerife will arrive in 2008, Siam Park is a theme park on a grand scale and is set to leave you awe struck.
It has been developed by the company who own Loro Parque the current No.1 attraction by visitor numbers on the Island.
Siam Park the greatest adventure on Tenerife
The park is located in the main holiday centre for the tenerife tourist, which is Costa Adeje, and is on the opposite side of the Island to Loro Parque.
Obviously Siam Park's location is to capitalise on not only the weather in the South, but also easy access for the vast majority of visitors to the Island and thus its potential customer base.
It will be Europe's largest water park, and as its name suggests is a Siamese themed adventure park with 14 major water attractions and 5 bars and restaurants.
Christoph Keissling the parks designer, even received special permission from the Thai royal family to use the park's name and theming.
though in respecting the country and it's culture no imitation of royal palaces, temples or indeed Buddhas are featured in the park, though everything else is authentic down to the restaurants and the Thai floating market.
Siam Park sets the theme park bar very high and notches up a few impressive statistics.
The park has excellent environmental credentials also, and as water is a scarce and precious resource, the park takes its huge water needs directly from the sea.
The water is treated to remove the salt any any impurities, and the machinery driving this process is run from its own natural gas system, and specially chosen for it's low 'carbon footprint' and to minimise any effects on the local environment.
Nevertherless, the real reason for the The Siam Park is to offer you fun and excitement and for that there are many attractions.
